In Music Ministry at St. Bede, music is firmly integrated into the prayer life of our Parish. As musicians in the service of the Church, the primary mission of St. Bede's Catholic Music Ministers is to inspire the sung prayer of the Parish community when it gathers for worship and to enhance the Catholic identity of St. Bede's by giving voice to the beauty of the liturgy. 

Catholic Music Ministry at St. Bede draws on the rich diversity of the Church’s musical tradition and celebrates a variety of musical styles and genres. Our choirs and ensembles include students, St. Bede School alumni and parishioners of all ages, majors, musical experience, and backgrounds. There is a place for everyone in Catholic Music Ministry at St. Bede.  

Community Worship

St. Bede's Music Ministry offers a variety of musical opportunities for all levels of choral experience and religious and non-religious backgrounds. Whether you are an adult, student, singer, or musician, consider lending your talents to enhance our music ministry. If you are interested in helping to engage and animate our community worship, we welcome you.  If you can sing and read music, so much the better!  Basic musical is desired, though not absolutely necessary. 

Cantors

St. Bede Music Ministry has a selection of Parish cantors involved in our Sunday Masses, Funerals, Weddings, and many other special events. They are selected through a process of audition and interview with the Director of Music.
