Liturgical Ministry Volunteer Interest Form
One of the most rewarding parish ministries is that of visiting the homebound. Each week, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion from St. Bede bring Holy Communion to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass. Those parishioners greatly appreciate the opportunity and blessing to receive Our Lord at home.
We are always in need of additional Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to bring Our Lord to our parishioners who are homebound, living at assisted living facilities or in a hospital.
If a parishioner is ill and would like a priest to celebrate the Sacrament of the Sick (anointing), please fill out the attached form or contact the Liturgy Coordinator.
If a parishioner is unable to attend Sunday Mass and wants to receive Holy Communion at home, please fill out the attached form or contact the Liturgy Coordinator.
Because of Federal Privacy Regulations, the parish is not notified automatically when a parishioner is hospitalized. If a loved one is hospitalized, please contact St. Bede's Parish Office at 818-949-4300. We will make every effort to visit them.
