Magis

Magis Community at St. Bede is a local representation of Christian Life Community (CLC). The goal of this small community movement is to share in a deeper level of contemplative prayer and personal faith in an intimate environment, while setting its vision as the disciples of Jesus upon Christian mission for the good of the wider community and society, eventually on global dimension.

CLC is an international association of men and women who desire to follow Jesus Christ more closely and work with Him to build a world of justice and peace. A lay public institute with pontifical rights, it works in close collaboration with the Society of Jesus and is animated by the spirituality of its founder, St. Ignatius Loyola.

CLC bears witness to human and Gospel values within the Church and society, in the concreteness of the time and place where we live, which affect the dignity of the human person, the welfare of the family,
and the integrity of creation."
