The Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) is a Christian, family-oriented, national, non-profit fraternal organization dedicated to promoting activities that build faith and family spirit and bring men, women, and children of all ages together.
The St. Bede Branch 374 of the ICF was established in 1984 and is especially dedicated to supporting the parish, the parishioners, the community, and the needs of the Catholic faith and provides members with opportunities for camaraderie, appreciation for Italian culture, and spiritual growth through monthly meeting activities.
Branch 374’s philanthropic work at St. Bede is a primary mission. Some of its donations include: Skidettes, Children’s Hospital for Cooley’s Anemia patients, St. John Seminary, The Pregnancy Help Center, Elizabeth House, Maui Fire Relief, and St. Bede ANEW at the patron level.
In addition, several scholarships are awarded to deserving St. Bede students at graduation who meet the criteria for Service, Writing, and Music. Also, a scholarship is awarded to an area superior high school student of Italian Heritage. Next year we will be providing scholarships for students at our neighboring school, Holy Redeemer-St. James School St. Monica Academy in Montrose.
Major funding for our charities and scholarships comes from Branch 374 hosting the Feast of St. Joseph's Table / Auction each year in March.
Membership is open to people of all ethnic backgrounds. The only requirement is that all members must be Catholic, or married to one, and support the St. Francis inspired motto of "Preach the Gospel at all times, use words when needed". We welcome all who share our faith and values. If you are interested in joining, contact the Parish Center at 818-949-4300 or click here to contact one of our board members
We look forward to hearing from you!
