St. Bede's Youth Ministry begins in 7th Grade and goes through 12th Grade. The core of our faith is the Sacred Heart of Jesus - the love of God. It is God’s love alone that can satisfy our restless hearts and it is out of His heart that we were all created. Teens grow deeply by looking within and learning how to love each other as Christ loves them. They do this through fellowship, community building, discussion and conversation, prayer, service, activities, retreats, and Sacraments.
Youth Ministry nights include food, games and activities, witness talks, small and large group discussions, panels of speakers, movie nights, worship music, prayer, and more.
Confirmation Sessions involve opening prayer, check-ins with your teen candidates, presenting the session topic (catechesis) along with personal stories, small group activities and discussions and closing prayer. The curriculum is given to you at the beginning of the year to review.
Retreats and Conferences are places where Adult Leads help to chaperone, facilitate activities and small group discussions, share witness talks, and develop a personal connection with youth. Retreats and conferences provide opportunities for teens to have deepened spiritual experiences.
We offer this Book of Prayers for you to share at home with your children. Msgr. Antonio and all the Catechists at St. Bede treasure these prayers and hope you will treasure them as well.
