What is "Cor 2.0"?

The name "Cor" comes from the Latin word for "heart". The core of our faith is being rooted in God's unconditional love for us, the love that flows from Jesus Christ's Sacred Heart. It is from that love, that our Church was born. It is in that love, that we find our true identity and purpose in life.

Cor 2.0 is Catholic high school youth ministry, for all teens in 9th through 12th grade. Cor 2.0 follows from Cor 1.0 which is for 7th and 8th graders. Cor 2.0 is a space where teens can come together in Christian community to be there for one another and be authentically themselves, just as Jesus modeled for us.  Our events are dedicated to connecting teens spiritually and socially through fun games, prayer experiences, service opportunities, faith sharing, sports and outdoor activities, the arts and more.  We aim to grow in Christian virtue through coming together and building a supportive and encouraging network that recognizes the youth as the Church of today as well as tomorrow.  Through Cor 2.0 and God's guidance, the youth of the St. Bede's will gain a deeper understanding of and respect of one another, serve those in need, participate in the sacraments, develop a personal spirituality and prayer life, participate in the Church community and deepen their relationship with Jesus.
