We, the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP),
(formally known as CCD or catechism)
strive to nurture and deepen the faith
of St. Bede families through our commitment to
faith-filled and family centered catechesis.

Our mission is to make our Catholic faith come alive in the hearts, 
minds and actions of St. Bede children and their families.
Forming a partnership with families, we seek to connect faith to the
everyday lives of our children.
The Pre-School Program for four and five years olds meets on
Sunday mornings during the 9:00AM Mass.
We use the school calendar, meeting September through May.
Using music, storytelling and crafts, children are encouraged to
discover God in the world around them.

There are two Elementary Programs for grades 1-6.
One program meets on Sunday mornings from 10:15AM - 11:30AM.
The second program meets on Wednesday afternoons from 3:45PM - 5:00PM.
This program meets September through June, as well.
Our elementary students experience their faith through classroom work,
audio-visual materials, crafts, liturgies and prayer services.

Registration fees for both programs are:
$115 per registered parishioner;
$90.00 per additional family member;
$175 per student for non-registered parishioners.

Sacrament Preparation

The preparation here at St. Bede
for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
is a two-year program beginning in the 1st grade,
with the children receiving the Sacraments in the 2nd grade.
All children must be enrolled in our 1st grade program
to receive the Sacraments in 2nd grade.

Our 2nd grader and parent(s) attended
the First Reconciliation Retreat on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
The Blessing for the First Penitents was Sunday
February 3, 2013 at the 9:00 Mass.
First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Saturday,February 9, 2013 at 9:30am.
