Italian Catholic Federation

The Italian Catholic Federation is a family oriented, non-profit fraternal organization dedicated to promoting activities that build family spirit and bring together men and women of all ages.  By joining a local branch, ICF members share their culture, heritage and religious beliefs.  Branch 374 at St. Bede parish, is part of the Los Angelese district and of the national organization that includes parishes in California, Nevada, Illinois, and Arizona.  The group holds pot luck dinner meetings at St. Bede every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm.  The organization promotes spiritual growth and charitable programs.  One of its key charitable programs involves raising money for research for a cure for Cooley's anemia, a disease that affects people of Mediterranean heritage.

St. Joseph Table

The Italian Catholic Federation sponsors a St. Joseph Table in March of each year on a Sunday close to the Feast of St. Joseph.  The tradition is that St. Joseph provided rain during a time of drought and in gratitude, this Italian custom, provides a meal for the hungry, or a meal for a donation with all proceeds supporting those who are hungry.
