We, the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP), (formally known as CCD or catechismstrive to nurture and deepen the faith of St. Bede families through our commitment to faith-filled and family centered catechesis.

Our mission is to make our Catholic faith come alive in the hearts, minds and actions of St. Bede children and their families. Forming a partnership with families, we seek to connect faith to the everyday lives of our children by way of classroom and Bible work, music, story telling, crafts, liturgies and prayetr services.  We use the public school calendar, meeting August through May.

  • Our pre-school class consists of a combined Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes ( 4 & 5 year olds) whinday mornings during the 9am Mass.  The children will meet in the 2nd grade classroom of the Education Center during Mass.
  • We offer elementary classes for grades 1-6 on Sunday mornings. Classes will meet in the 9:00 Mass and participate in Children’s Liturgy of the Word with their catechists. They will return to Mass at the Offertory and remain in Mass until the Final Blessing. After Mass, they will meet in the classrooms of the Education Center from 10:15-11:10am.  (We are using the 11:10am dismissal time due to parking for the 11:00 Mass.
  • In our goal to assist parents as primary catechist of their children, we offer a home study program for grades 3-6.  This includes work to be done at home and turned in to our office as well as a once-a-month on-campus meeting. It is expected all families actively participate in the weekend and Holy Day liturgies, as the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith.

Registration fees for the program are:
$150 per registered parishioner;
$90.00 per additional family member;
$175 per student for non-registered parishioners.
No family will be turned away from our program due to financial difficulties. Please contact Moira Arjani regarding scholarship information.
