Our Usher Ministry represents the face of St. Bede to the many who come to worship as part of our faith community. The ushers welcoming presence conveys the spirit of our community and makes that very critical positive first impression.
During our liturgies, these ministeres are responsible for greeting and welcoming, helping those with special needs, gathering assembly donations, selecting those to bring forward the gifts, assisting at Holy Communion, distributing programs and bulletins, and providing other assistance and/or information where needed. The overall goal of Usher Ministry is to perform tasks that foster the community's full participation in the liturgy from the time anyone enters the church.

Anyone, 18 years of age or older, is invited to join the usher team. Training is provided by experienced ushers and or the head usher. Teens under 18 may usher at the 5:30 pm Sunday Mass and are coordinated by the Youth Minister.
